It is a composite designed to endure a lot of wear and tear.

A direct pressure manufacturing process fuses four layers into one extremely hard surface.

The four layers are:

  • Back Layer - The back is reinforced with melamine for structural stability and moisture resistance.
  • Fiberboard Core - Ultra dense core board provides impact resistance and stability. It also features an edge sealing treatment that provides even further structural stability.
  • Decorative Layer - The decorative layer is actually a highly detailed photograph that gives the laminate the appearance of wood or tile.
  • Wear Layer - The melamine wear layer is a tough, clear finish reinforced with aluminum oxide, one of the hardest mineral compounds known to man, resisting staining, fading, surface moisture and wear.

Other Noteworthy Laminate Features:

It is very easy to clean.

High-quality laminate can look like a real wood floor.

Tongue and groove locking technology eliminates unsightly gaps at the seams.

Laminates flooring has an “engineered” line that can stand up to just about anything because Laminate flooring does not scratch.

The surface is burn-resistant and resists scratching from pets and erosion from high-traffic areas.

Laminate flooring will not shift with normal family usage. The surface will not color fade and even floor cleanup is done easily, requiring only a damp cloth and a vacuum.

Laminate flooring even works well in moisture areas like kitchens and bathrooms.

Ultra durable flooring planks can be taken apart and reassembled if necessary so no waiting period is needed giving you a hassle-free installation.

Hardwood Flooring

True Hardwood floors provide warmth and beauty to your home. They add value and are easy to care for and clean. This eco-friendly floor makes a great choice for any home.

True Hardwood comes in two categories, solid wood and engineered wood.

Solid - Is milled from a single 3/4" thick piece of hardwood.

The most popular wood flooring format is wood strip that is a pre finish.

One of the characteristics of solid wood flooring is that it expands and contracts with changes in your home's relative humidity.

Normally, installers compensate for this movement by leaving an expansion gap between the floor and the wall. Base molding or quarter round is traditionally used to hide the extra space.

One of the advantages is that a solid hardwood floor can be sanded and refinished over several generations of use.

Solid wood flooring is usually nailed to a sub-floor of wood and it is not recommended for basements or below-grade installations.

Engineered - Is produced with three to five layers of hardwood. Each layer is stacked in a cross-grain configuration and bonded together under heat and pressure.

As a result, engineered wood flooring is less likely to be affected by changes in humidity and can be installed at all areas of the home.

Stone Flooring

With its natural beauty, matchless durability and low maintenance a stone floor covering brings homeowners pride and peace of mind.

Under standard conditions stone flooring will last for a very long time eliminating the need of replacement. This durability is the main reason for stone flooring becoming a mainstay in homes, apartments and office buildings all over the world.

Stone flooring is suitable for moisture-prone and heavy-traffic areas such as kitchens, bathrooms, foyers and laundry rooms.

We can install natural stone floors like marble, granite, or limestone that we can install, or we can choose from the manufactured stones that consist of natural stone chips suspended in a bonding manufactured material.

Stone flooring can vary in texture and color for a unique distinctive look.

Marble Flooring

Marble is a natural stone and connotes sophistication and class.

Marble tiles and slabs are ornate and alluring with an elegant appearance, and can be used for front hallways, foyers, kitchens and bathrooms.

Veined with rivulets of subtle color on varied backgrounds of earthy tones, marble tile flooring and marble slabs cam make a subtle or bold statement.

Tile Flooring

Ceramic tile can be glazed or unglazed.

Ceramic tile is a mixture of clays and minerals that have been shaped, pressed and then fired at temperatures exceeding 2,000ï½° (F), resulting in a hard surface.

The protective glaze that is applied before firing gives the ceramic tile added color and finish and makes it resistant to stains, odors, bacteria and scratches.

Porcelain tile is a type of ceramic made of a very fine mixture of clays and minerals similar to those found in fine dinnerware.

These special clays allow porcelain tile to be fired at temperatures even higher than ceramic tile, typically exceeding 2,400ï½° (F).

The higher temperature results in a very dense tile making it easier to resist moisture.

Vinyl Flooring

Vinyl floor coverings are preferred by many homeowners for their ease of maintenance.

Vinyl floor coverings may be applied over old flooring, and are easily cleaned with a vacuum or a mop with soap and warm water.

To the delight of many householders, with proper care, many brands do not require waxing. Polyurethane coatings render a high-gloss finish that emulates a shiny, waxy surface and generally stays rather shiny over the years.

As with many household materials, vinyl sheet and tile flooring comes in residential grade and commercial grade.

Residential vinyl flooring varies in thickness, method used for imprinting or decorating and style.

Commercial vinyl flooring coverings conform to specifications that require superior durability and stain resistance (particularly use-full in hospital settings).

Some commercial-grade vinyl floor covering is non-slip for high public traffic areas.
